Born and raised in Wilmington, NC, Amy left in 2001 to study at North Carolina State University; graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Upon moving back to Wilmington in 2009, she obtained her North Carolina Real Estate License in 2010, and found a career in advising clients who were buying and selling properties in the Southeast NC region.
After working in residential real estate, new construction, and property management, she took over as office manager for a local real estate firm in 2013. Her experience in the real estate industry has been vital in all of the work we do for real estate transactions in the firm.
After being hired by The Humphries Law Firm, PC, she attended Cape Fear Community College’s Paralegal Certificate Program for Civil Litigation, and graduated in 2015 with honors. This continued education has expanded her case load to include: real estate transactions, family law, business litigation, estate administration, estate planning and business organization.
