Mark is a North Carolina State Bar licensed and USPTO registered attorney. A Wilmington native, Mark attended Duke University where he graduated with a B.A. in history, a B.S. in biology, and a minor in chemistry. Following Duke University, Mark attended the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor and being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2007.
In his professional pursuits following law school, Mark acquired substantial experience practicing law in the following legal disciplines: intellectual property, business and corporate, estate planning, estate administration, guardianship law, real property law, and civil litigation. In September of 2009 while the country was in the throes of economic crisis, Mark elected to flee the safety of a good job with an established law firm and successfully founded and established The Law Offices of Mark King, P.C.
For fun, Mark enjoys playing basketball poorly and is a self-described music fanatic. Not for fun, Mark frequently finds himself cleaning a path of destruction left by a 7 lb. silky terrier with whom he and his wife, Libby, co-habitate.
